ISO 1970 ROADRUNNER GRANDPA'S CAR

Hello! My name is Jonathan and am trying to locate my grandfathers 1970 Roadrunner. Don’t have a lot of info on the car but I know it was most likely purchased in Zanesville, Ohio. The car was Vitamin-C orange with a vinyl top and steel wheels. Would’ve been registered by Clinton Stevens. Any help is so much appreciated!!

It has a few options:
rocker mouldings
Drivers remote mirror
14" rally wheels

It would help your search greatly if you can find any paperwork with a VIN number on it. By the picture the first 4 digits of the VIN are RM23 the next digit could be an N for a 383 engine,V for a 440 Six Barrel engine,or R for a 426 Hemi engine. The Sixth digit would be a zero for 1970,and the next digit could be an A for the Lynch Road assembly plant,or G for St Louis assembly plant. The last six digits are the vehicle sequence number.

The VIN is a help, but the photo and description of the car's options and selling dealer is a good starting point. I didn't have the VIN when I was searching for my current GTX, but I had a photograph from 1971 that did the job. Located it two decades ago by showing the photo to GTX guys at the Chrysler Nationals. Finally bought it two years ago. Both photos taken at the dealership that sold it new.
