It's been 50 years since we first heard these words . . . .

My all-time Clint Eastwood favorites: Dirty Harry, Kelly's Heros, Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider, Unforgiven and Paint Your Wagon.

Kelly's Hero's, Odd Ball stole the show ! One of Donald Sutherland's best.

I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?

It was my late father in laws, he shot it regularly, and although I've never shot this gun, I have shot other .44's.
I have too and it hurt my hand and almost my face....LOL... Some wise *** I was with bought some "HOT" 44 rounds.... I still remember

Excellent observation, kiwi!

Dirty Harry - one of the movies I can't turn off if it's on TV. They just don't make movies like that anymore. Anything with Clint Eastwood or Steve McQueen will keep me up way later than I should if they're on.

Were any of these the same gun Burt Reynolds had in "Malone"?? He pulled it out from under the newspaper when he was in the barber chair.....
I'm not sure, I don't remember that gun or the movie well

they were soldiers/turned robbers, stealing German (?) treasure
Yup.....that's true.....but if you look at how Odd Ball's character acted, he was hippie through and through but was a capitalist too lol. Saw an interview but can't remember who it was with and they talked about how the show had an anti war slant. I mean, there was a lot of us in the military that was antiwar during Nam and can only imagine some were during WWII also but on the other hand, gotta look at when the show was made....in the middle of 1970.

Six 44 magnum shots on target in one second.
:bananadance:

This is worth watching!

Gotta love Clint Eastwood. My first movie I recall was at the drive in back home and it was Any which way but loose. Clyde was cool when your a little rug rat! Josey Whales is one of my favorites but honestly I enjoy anything Clint new or old he is a talented man who will be missed when the time comes.
