Hey there, so i'm thinking about doing LED's for my dash lights in my 73 charger, with the standard dash, does anyone have any info on how this is done or any links to threads that have related info. Pretty much clueless when it comes to this sort of stuff, but I really want to give it a shot. Thanks!

exactly what i needed, thanks!! Also if anyone has any information about doing HID headlights that would be cool, not sure if its as simple as swapping the bulbs or if any wiring or the housing needs to be changed at all.

Hey Ron do u have any of those pictures of your gauges? How do they look with different color bulbs and the white face?

Hope these will help, The first one the lights are on but i had the flash on when i took it, These are older pictures here, The correct mirrors are on it now and there's a pistol grip shifter knob, had to mention it, The second one is during the day and the third is at night, sitting in Garage but the closest to what they actually look like, they are bright, clear and easy to read. Ma Mopar put blueish green plastic Len's over the holes where your bulb gos in, i took all those off and i like it better. Its hard to show you with my cheap camera the way it looks like when were in the car, All the gauges are now red as the one in the original radio in the car to.. Dome and map light regular clear bulbs.. All the colors looks good in the cars, i know in "family tradition" (resto section) some where there is the blue ones in Propwash's resto in the above thread dash lights with the black faced gauges. Any other questions you may Have ill answer if i can, hardest is tearing it all apart to do it but i was changing a bunch of things on and in the dash, It was worth the work and money... Good luck if you decide to change them.

Here is one more that might help you see how bright these are.. I had a whole thread on this stuff and deleted my photo bucket account and lost them all in the thread lol. Oh well ive made worse mistakes. And again, this from last winter.. Those blueish green caps would be on the front there over bulbs, you can see how much darker they would be if i left them on.

Again, love your posts of your dash.

Did you put any 'cover' over these bulbs (Red or clear) or are they 'bare'?

Im glad you guys like them.. Here is a picture when i first tore it down, you can see those caps, there plastic in case you might be worried about heat as a reason to put something else over them, if that were the case, i don't think they would put plastic lens over bulbs closer then anything these are close to put together.. sometimes i kind of miss the black gauge but its not like changing rims back and forth when you want change lol.
