I've been talking to Legendary a lot lately, getting samples for my interior. They told me a few months ago that a new interactive website with grain and seat photo examples was on its way. Well, they've just emailed me that the new website is now live. Thought you might want to check it out.

thanks for the heads up. that will make ordering the RR interior a lot more convenient esp when the get the loading speed worked out. site indicates they are working on that

Good.

The old site with the black and white pdf, and only about 25% of the patterns was kinda sketchy.

I did get a color sample that was dead on for my application, though.

Just would be nice to not have to go through all that.

I can't wait for the design center on there to be activated. That will be sweet.

OK, so I tried the new site after seeing this post, and was underwhelmed.

I tried again today, thinking they might not have been completely ready...

Here's my critique-

The new site is almost as difficult to navigate as the old site.

There is one area where it is actually worse- you can no longer search for just seat covers, or door panels, etc. That sucks.

The photos are no better than they used to be. Lots are still missing, and most are of a generic part that is not the correct color, or pattern. You'd think that a company that sells products based on accuracy of looks would have high quality photos of EVERY part, CLEARLY illustrating the differences between model years, color combinations and options.

Their part descriptions could be better as well, "hdtp rear" is not a very intuitive description.
Is this a seat cover? (especially with no pic)

I also noticed their prices have increased fairly substantially since last I viewed the old site.

I know they have a quality product, but I sure had my hopes up that it would be a lot easier to use their site.

What's better?

It's just different.

It says they will be selling seats soon taking orders now? Rally style? Like the scat pro car seats?

Well, there was a big hoopla about the new site being so much better.

Aside from a more modern web design and graphics (for the page only, not the products), there is no added content or functionality.

Again, I like their products, but it would benice to be able to do research on their website without having to keep calling them. That's what websites are for.
