Lift off hood display rods?

I have the 4 “display rods”. But 2 of them are longer than the other 2?
Is that normal?

Yes, shorter in the rear. I made my own out of some 1" dia acrylic rods and another set of hood pins. I also made them a little taller than most, so I could also work on it if needed. I had many people say it appeared the hood was floating.
