Can someone give me an idea where to run the cable from the temp control, to the water valve on the heater hose? I have the temp control lever, the water valve, and new cable...not sure how to route it.....thanks!

Somebody must know or have a pic where this temp cable exits the firewall heading towards heat control valve on the heater hose?

Ok.....let the laughing begin, i can take it.....i attached a pic of this valve in my heater hose, thinking thats where the temp control cable goes! Im now thinking that cable connects inside under dash to about the 1/2 way point on heater box to an arm which controls a baffle? Its tuff finishing someone elses start-ups!

Interesting. Is your car non-a/c? My 69, non-a/c does not have an inline valve. The temp control goes to the blend door as you mentioned. So hot water is always circulating in mine and knly get heat when the door is opened.

Honestly, in hotter climates a bypass valve would be nice to have.

That’s why I didn’t chime in, mine is non/ac. But agree w/‘threewood’.
