Block #8G179051 Was pulled from car in the 70's in Northern California. Supposedly went into a dragster or funny car. Probably grenaded but still hoping.
Also any info on the car- 1968 GTX, originally QQ1 blue, blue stripe, black vinyl top, blue interior, Hemi, auto. Car sold new as an ordered car through HL Harris Chrysler Plymouth in Pittsburgh CA, supposedly to someone first name of Skip. Had never left the greater SF area until we brought it home to Oregon in 2015. Raced at Fremont in the 70's. I have history of the car from 1979 to date. Prior to '79, the hemi and k member had been replaced with a 440. The car had also been wrecked in the right front and repainted darker blue with a white stripe. Thanks
