What a handsome boy. It looks to me from your pictures and your post that he was a very much member of the family. These are painful days when they are gone. I still have a tough time when I am near the graves of my dogs.
It looks like Buddy had a great life thanks to you !
R.I.P. Buddy
Sorry to hear that , our pets become children to many of us . Im very close to you in the same boat with my jake he's 14 .
Take care of yourselves and remember Buddy's good times together .
Sorry to read of Your loss. Always chokes me up to hear of a Best Friend passing on. It's so hard to make the decision to not let them suffer. I spun out hard the last time. Peace, Heal & Love again
It's always a sad day when we have to make that decision to let your dog pass on. I just always ask myself" Am I keeping them alive for them or me?"
Losing a dog is like losing a family member to me. They may be gone but never forgotten.
Dogs all go to heaven. May he rest in peace.
I only read the first post by the op.
Hard to type with tears in my eyes...
Dogs are awesome. Those relationships are some of the deepest I've ever had, my entire life, since I was born, I've almost always had a dog. I have 3 now. All lab mixes. 2 are brother and sister of 6 we rescued. They're getting older....
Until we all cross the Rainbow Bridge... You did the last, most loving thing that you could for your friend. Sorry for your loss.
He is a beautiful dog!
Very sorry to hear that , Bob....Condolences... I get a tear in my eye, when I think about losing my Chocolate Lab, Gunner.. He is 9 and already limping bad, Left front wheel....
I'm very sorry for your loss. Buddy looks like an awesome dog. You did the right thing. There's nothing harder in the world for me than to have to put down my furry friends. I've had to do it numerous times, so I understand how you feel. Hopefully time will heal you.
