I happen to be brousing craigslist yesteday and came across a 1965 B body four speed console with a tach that looks to be very restorable. I believe it came out of a 1965 satillite which I have that at some point would like to convert over to a four speed. The console cost me under $150.00 but, the kicker is I have to drive about325 mi. to get it in upstate NY. I am also trying to make a deal with a gentlemam who has a four speed in a 1964 sport fury that wants to swap over to an automatic. You never know I my be driving a four speed car next summer Im hoping.

congrats but can't you get him to ship it? Maybe find places local to the seller who will package and ship and just ask him to drop it off.

The add said no shipping local sale so I didn't want to pressure him into shipping and I did mention it I could tell he did not want to be bothered by this so I just paid him and figured I would work that out later. He said he had it in storage for the last 23 yrs. and decided to part with it just something he had hanging around and wasn't realy ever going to use it. Tallhair I will try to figure something out like you said maybe I can find someone willing to get it for me and have it shipped for a fee plus shipping.

Pulaski, NY is where it is my favorite fly fishing town the famous salmon river runs right through it.

Well found someone that is going to Pulaski NY. and is willing to pick up my console for me and that saves me a lot of trouble trying to figure this out. A co worker is going salmon fishing for a couple of weeks so good luck to him fishing and hope the console is in decent shape we will see when it arrives.
