Anyone every purchase from these guys? I am about to buy a 6.4 from them and am just wondering if there is any info

I answered my own question. I went on their website and was going to order an engine, but you have to call them. They have a chat function so I clicked on that and was presumably talking to someone named Tony. He told me that they only accept money order or bank transfer for their engines... yeah I am not risking $6K+ on someone no where near me and someone I don't know. They don't take credit cards, paypal, etc. which I find quite troubling. They might be good guys but to me this is a red flag.

I think you are making the right decision. If you had any problems you would be screwed. Money orders and bank transfers offer no protection or recourse. I would believe that is why they do it.

Thank is exactly what I told him and he said "we sell engines every day and thats the way we have always done it"... well I am sure he is right but that doesn't mean it is right. I also told him that I am not risking $6K+ on his word, he went silent at that point.

I get Mopar Muscle magazine. There are always ads in the back for just about anything Mopar you could want. I'll look when I get home.

Modern Muscle is heavy on advertising. Word of mouth is better advertising. IMO that makes each engine 500-1000 more expensive. I see plenty of emails and magazine ads, but no bragging on the forums.

You're right, it is. But it's a start.
