Murdering Hemi's

Very cool thanks.

interesting story, supposedly the engine are gone & sold off a few years ago, according the a poster on that site....

That was really interesting, how does one find a story like that.

I emailed the link to a friend who lives in Rochester & this is what he wrote back to me............

I lived up the street from the engineer that ran these Hemi's One day he came home with a 69 Hemi RR which they were testing for Chrysler. My 1st ride in a Hemi car. The Engine from the RR was used as one of the dyno mule's in the picture. They purchased the others from Chrysler Marine division and recall one of they had the harmonic balancer explode and we had to rebuild it and put in a new crank. When we took it apart all the internals were de-burred of any slag and really looked like it was a custom built engine. After they drilled holes all over the RR for some sort of structural testing the car was available for me to have and why I didn't take a Swiss cheese new Hemi RR minus drive train I'll never stop kicking myself. Shortly there after I bought my 69 Hemi RT Charger but still regret the pass on the RR.
