Well I just did another upgrade to my Hemi, its bigger now and went with a new Carb selection with a new type of fuel for this build.
the last build did not turn out well and had to redo the whole motor again after 7 passes.
It doesn't smoke anymore due to blowby from the poor ring seal.
Drove 9 hours to get it done right.

You Motor looks great, the Indy style rat Roaster is really cool looking. Their is no other Motor in the World like this. What rock shaft system are you using? Indy or Stage VI

SSR it looks great with them Holleys ontop too... what do you expect from this combo ??

i'm using the indy roller rocker setup with the indy 426-1RA heads cnc ported. they flow 502@
.900 unfortunately the intake cant keep up with the flow of the heads and it only flows in the high .380's IIRC.
IF I want to make alot more power than the only other way would be the sheetmetal tunnelram style intake with these carbs.

I would love to be able to build one someday. Very nice!

This one has been built 4 times in 3 years. How do you bore and hone a hemi without a torque plate is beyond me.
It's built right now with no expense spared.

Why would you even think about honing without a torque plate? Also I was thinking about changing my hemi to Stage VI rocker assembly or to Indy on my Iron head street hemi. What do you think?

It wasn't me who built the motor. It smoked the last 3 builds and everytime the old engine builder said it was valve seals.
Well it wasn't.it was poor ring seal with 65% leakage of 4 cylinders,45% on 2 cylinders, and 40% on the last 2 cylinders.
Found out the motor was not bored and honed with torque plate and the cylinders were egg or football shaped, rings were worn and cylinders were smooth as a babys behind.
7 total passes on the motor and got 3 good passes before smoke was pouring out the headers.Right around the 660 foot mark.
Vacuum pump didnt help either. No ring seal.

they are stock holley 770's the one the super stock cars must run.dont want to cut these chokes horns down. they are too expensive.

its 586 Ci with 780 ft. lbs. torque and compression ratio was supposed to be 14.1 but old engine builder messed up that too.Now its only 13.5
horsepower is over 900 hp.

I hope you have better luck this time, it sounds impressive... Now go have some fun finally
