Need Console wiring pictures or diagrams HELP

just so happens when i cut the two wires out of the middlle of the 6 prong plug those two wires had a plug on the end that fit prefectly on the other end i need over by the kick panel , :hello2::hello2::hello2::hello2:

after i cut the two out of the middle i was able to save the outer two and cut them down to still plug right in , I will also wrap them to be sure they are totally secure . All in all a pretty easy solution and worked out alot better then i thought it would .

just need to add more wire to runn it all the way over to the fuse box and a couple spades to mount it into the back of the fuse box now. Very simple very easy lol

well prop i got it all wired and plugged in like we talked about and I think i need a wiring diagram bad to see what i did wrong ? The console lights only work with and the shifter light on comes on when the rocker switch is toggled to the middle position of parking lights only . ?????? dont have any idea what i did wrong .

it sure looked easy and everything plugged right up ? this 70 dash wiring harness from Year one and M&H is the worst thing ever none of the colors are correct and it has literally 25 extra plugs our cars would never have .

Now on to your issue. So I just got done hooking makeshift power up to my car to see the console lighting in action. Here's the scoop. Going off the little makeshift wiring diagram I got with the used replacement harness I bought for my car off racing junk, it says the pink and orange to the second fuse in. Well, with power to my car (sorry to say), that doesn't Jive. My apologies, I took for granted something on paper was actually what it was supposed to be.

Now,
I ran the orange wire to the first fuse (INST/LPS) on the fuse box and the pink still on the second fuse in (TAIL/CIGAR). The lighting works exactly how it supposed to. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense and I should have picked up on it.

PS..Yellow still hooks to the bullet type connector at the door jamb switch. Side console lights get a pink and a yellow wire to them. The gear selector is orange and black (Black leads to ground-orange to the first fuse-LPS/INST), just to recap.

it just unbolts , the little speed nuts are on the under side

mine came with a rectangular one and its grey in the shifter arm kit
pictured above installed in the shifter plate ., its plastic and just slides right in .

ah yeah sweet, there was no mention of it in the order that i noticed so was wondering, even better deal then yeah! sweet can't wait to get it installed.
