New charger based on 300 I think this ones hits the mark

yeah :iamwithstupid: someone posted that before, anyway I like it much better than any of the 4dr versions, but like some of them too... especially the SRT-8 Black on Black

I agree Big Jim. Ma should seriously have considered doing this .. or did this guy steal any potential thunder they might get from it if they were to preview it / make them look like imbecile copycats for not getting it done first?

It's been pretty apparent since the late 80's there was a market for retro muscle ... durango's and rams, mustangs, pt cruiser the chevy retro pt cruiser thing then restyled mustang (which is the best retro IMO) the challenger and camaro lately

They need car people writing those articles instead of dumbass pencil pushers. Clearly the car is based on a 68, not a 69.

Exactly what the modern one should've looked like. I can't stand the 4 door "Charger".

not bad as far as new cars look.still looks like a charger ate too many chevys and fords with that "bloated" look.

was gonna mention that original design.hard to tell, but it is a 4 door!

Whoa! You're right! Never noticed that. Even more of a reason that they should've built it instead of the design they went with.

For some reason that looks like a cross between a 90's camrao and a vette? lol

:iamwithstupid: The entire bottom section is too low bring up the skirts, fix the spoiler geometry and I think they can have it right, not too late for big C to put this into production make a few small adjustments and call it their own.

:iamwithstupid: but, unfortunately we don't get a vote... they need to have some modern spin on it, like they did with the Challenger... or the designers "can't own it" so to speak, as their own design...

Ignorance is bliss just like my ignore list :knob: :headbang:

Yeah I posted the earlier thread of this car. But like I said on there, (imo) nothing they can come up with will ever look better than the original.

I hate it but those pics of the Charger concept that was never produced looks to much like a early 2000`s Camaro. Especially in the front. I would never want people to think that we were copy cats of a GM product. Cause we are the leader, not a follower!!!! But I love the 1 based on the 300.Very sharp.

I would still drive the wheels off it. I really like the 70 charger grill and bumper rendition

I saw the original concept at the Chicago Auto Show. Was real sharp up close, even liked the color. I have an original fold out advertisement somewhere. A lot of people at the show said they would have bought it IF Ma Mopar would have produced it like the concept. The door handles for the rear doors were flush, it was even hard to tell it had 4 doors up close.

I had always wondered of the wisdom in the 4 door cars with the old revived badges..to serious enter the market for max sales..lose the rear doors...as pictured..the Charger looks good..the rear panel is a bit out of whack but tolerable

quite surprised someone has not photo shopped a rebel flag and couple numbers on it....lol
