Not a MOPAR but I like it!

Saw the PV 57 build.....have always like the 57 Fords and looked high and low for a nice Ranchero but never found one.
I have a buddy in Georgetown, Ca.,
his dad has a graveyard full of cars wagons & trucks,
he has/had a really good clean 57 Ranch Wagon 2 dr,
Just sitting there out in/under the trees (parked in 1975-77)...
I never could talk him out of it &
it's probably gone back to mother earth by now
last time I saw it, it was buried in pine needles,
they'll rot a car fast... What a shame...

He had a bunch of 49-51 Fords too, I got a bunch of parts
for my old 49 Pro-gas build from his graveyard
one of the rare times, he'd let someone use the stuff...

he had a crap-load of 50-60-70's wagons,
(I love wagons) he just wouldn't sell
he drove them tell they died & put them in the graveyard
most never seen the road ever again, sadly

There was a guy years ago that went to the Car Craft
show & drags deal up here in Sacramento, back in the late 80's
Had a little Nash/Rambler Metropolitan
with a Blown 2x4bbl 460 FE motor in it, tub'd tined narrowed 9" rear etc.
Ol' Pro-Street look

I had a friend Rob D. with a Morris Minor with a turbo'd Buick V6
that thing was a blast
the same guy had a Datsun 510 Bluebird 2 dr Coupe
extended front fenders & hood, with a stack FI on a BBC
ran 9's, all built in his garage, he drove on the street & to shows etc.

that looks a lot like it...
it may be, not sure
doesn't look like the turbo blow-thru set up
he had on top of the carb/intake
that looks like a air-cleaner for a carb

we'd all go to Modesto & Cruise
every so often way back when too,
my ol' Ford or one of my RR's or Charger's or V8 Vega
he'd drive the Morris or we'd tow the Bluebird
& then cruise it/them...

I have pictures of the Datsun at Baylands
post them I don't have any
light-ish metallic blue, with injector stacks out the hood
longer front end etc., narrowed tub'd etc.

the guys name was Rob D----e, from Concord Ca.
he was a bit younger than me,
but hung around the same people

It'll take a little bit of digging but I'll make it happen... There was another Morris with the license "MNR PRBM" back then, I have pictures of it too..

MNR PRBM had a 428 Ford FE in it...

I'll need to dig around for more photos... Strangely I'm leaving the house now to go work at my shop... I'll Shelter in place later & dig up some photos.... LOL

1965 Studebaker Daytona Wagoneer V8 station wagon with retractable rear roof. 723 made. It's just a small wagon with great lines and would look really cool as a resto mod.

Nice! I can see it with a Roadster Shop frame, N-50 rear meats and a HEMI.

I wouldn't change a hair on it, short of maybe different wheels. It's perfect.
Not every classic ride needs to be slammed, customized, etc.
That's so common now that cars left original are the "unique" ones anymore.

that could be the car I was org. talking about/thinking of...
I thought it was a 460, but could have very well been a 428 :blah:
I do remember it was a FE, I want to say it was 2 tone also
(I'm thinking metallic root-beer brown & cream on top ???, that may be all wrong too)
but, I'm going off of my memory :blah:

from the Car Craft show/race in Sac.
