RIP Pat Summeral, iconic figure, NFL Giant's kicker {I think} & legendary NFL Analyst/announcer, has died at age 82

were all the NFL guys ??, this guy was a fixture for many years... only 36 views & no RIPs for Pat ??, when some lame obscure unknown Star Wars actor guy gets a bunch of responses...LOL...

Here is a Pat Summeral story:
A "TRUE" story he relayed to another sports journalist.

Pat was a big drinker, BIG drinker...
So, he is at a game announcing...and after the game he and his peers go out to have a drink or 3.
Later on, late, the cops see hs car pulled over at the side of the road near his hotel.
They open the door and he is passed out in the back seat.
They ask him: "what are you doing here" (smell of alcohol permeating the car.)
His answer: "Dam, kid!! I gave him $50 bucks to drive me to the hotel but he stopped the car here and ran off!"

Yeah, Pat was "cool"
