You'll do fine. Study the book, take it slow and easy. All the terrible drivers out there passed, so you'll do great.

And once you do pass, focus on becoming a great driver. Studying the book will not help you much in this. Practice, practice, practice. Use your head as well as your eyes. As a guy who loves to drive and drive well, and drove buses in an urban core for 4.5 years without an accident, here's my top of the list advice:

Leave plenty of space in front of you AT ALL TIMES.

Congrats! Just one of the first of life's many tests, but it is a big one. The world is much more fun with wheels under ya.

In Illinois they make people take the driving test every year after they turn 80. So they get you at both ends....of life that is.
