I use the later larger OD bearing from a 2000 (+-) Dodge Ram. Best way for the bushing or bearing is to throw it in the freezer for a few hours and then tap it in with a plastic hammer or dowel/hammer.
well the one i have is the one that came with the brand new crank i bought, but it did not come installed so just trying to figure out how to get it in without damaging it.
i think coloradodave answered thanks for that
Is it a bronze type bushing or a bearing? If it's the bushing, Simply find a socket the same OD and used a small hammer and drive her home. Just remember, there's a bevel on one end of the ID of the bushing. That goes toward the flywheel.
