Here’s a question for 65 Coronet owners that have done a manual to power brake conversion. All the setups out there use the goofy brackets to alter the linkage and I suppose multiply the braking power. But it also raises the booster and master cylinder quite a bit. I have tried 2 units in mine and one was 9” booster and the other was a 8” unit. Neither would allow the hood to close. Keep in mind that the 65 Coronet has a rather flat hood. Can anyone share their experience in doing theirs?
