I am not convinced food now labeled "with probiotics" really are new and improved. By the same token, I wonder what is going on with the new spray paints (engine enamels, for example) that list ceramic on the label. What is this ceramic purported to do anyway?
Ceramic = Any non-metallic solid that hardens when heated.
So, since the "color" component is probably a non-metallic solid that has been heated, therefore they can call it a ceramic. So, its pure marketing. There has always been ceramics in it for most colors. They just want to tell you about it since nowadays people think ceramic=good.
I work in marketing, so this method is very common and easy to do.
