Remove old vinyl woodgrain insert from interior door panel trim on 69 Coronet R/T?

I need to remove the old woodgrain from the door panel trim to restore the metal before sticking on the new woodgrain inserts on the trim. Least destructive method, please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*****UPDATE*****

I tried the expensive 3M Woodgrain Remover, Heat Gun, and Klean Strip Aircraft Decal and Adhesive Remover. The Klean Strip work very well. The heat gun helped get the vinyl layer off. The 3M Woodgrain Remover did nothing.
