RIP Ozzy

I've been around like a donut, some took trips and never came back and some took a slow trip, many, many, many times. I can't say I'll be here at 74, as I said, time will tell. I do know one thing, if you and I had the money he spent on taking a trip and never leaving the farm, you and I would own thousands and thousands of acres............ Keep on Truckin!!! .... LOL
Supposedly he's been sober for 7 years....don't know about drugs though.

I was never a huge fan, but over the years I gained respect for the lyrics that stand well even without the music, and certainly the business acumen.
I'd put that right up there with Taylor Swift and Madonna.
I finally got to see him/them in 2004 but it was a "jackpot", never thought I'd get to see it, moment- the original Black Sabbath lineup including Bill Ward, Geezer Butler, and Tony Iommi.
...and I was close enough to see Iommi's plastic fingertips.

I hear - “I worship” the dropouts who make their own rules.

Gotta love the guys (& gals) that make there own rules and don’t always follow the masses drum beats.
Maybe (clapping?) and whistled means he approved....worship is a bigger step imo. I was one that didn't follow the masses but for a bit, I was making my own rules but quickly realized I didn't like being in a cage either. My youngest daughter thought the rules were for someone else big time but I think she didn't like being in a cage either.

Supposedly he's been sober for 7 years....don't know about drugs though.

I can only pray that he and anyone else that has been addicted to anything, is and stays free from their addiction. Cigarettes and alcohol are the two hardest things to quit since when the time comes and you cave to your crave, there as close as the local store if not a phone call away to have it dropped off at your house via Uber eats or the like app.

Being that Ozzy is by compare to 99.9% of the rest of the world, frankly speaking, Uber rich and wealthy, any other substance is similarly easy to get with just a phone call or text.

Anybody who was addicted and remains clean gets a fist pounding on my chest salute for keeping it up. Those that haven’t been addicted have no clue and often speak out of there *** when this subject comes up and should remain silent or for sure, or they’ll expose themselves as no nothing idiots.

This thread made me break out my memory books.
From 1982 concert I went to.

Ozzie is still among us. Nothing to see here.

WOW! Very cool. I seen the OZ man 3 times. Missed Randy though.

You must have seen Randy weeks or maybe a month or two before he died.

Late '82 would have been "Speak Of The devil", with Brad Gillis (from Night Ranger- extremely under rated).

Hasn't he pretty much always been that way?? And anyone that has worked hard, played hard and enjoyed life is going to look a bit used up by the time they are 74.....
Speaking from experience, D? :poke:

Ozzy may be on the crazy train...
But guess who the conductor is ?

Been declared dead before in Canada, got 5 years on Ozzy.

Only Willie Nelson has died more times. I think he's up to at least 33 times resurrected and playing guitar!

Funny thing is, I can't understand a word he says, but I can understand his singing voice.

Started working in construction when I was 14....probably the easiest times as far as work is concerned was when I was in the AF lol
