I have a shifter mechanism for a pre 1970 console application. It still operates smoothly and has nice chrome with the exception of the push button which has some flaking. At one point someone did add an additional tab on the bottom near the pivot point which I have since removed with very little alteration to the shifter. It's driver quality as is but still worthy of restoration to be perfect.
