Re: Front Shocks - Sure. The car was an 8 year build. It has an independent front suspension kit made by Control Freaks. The car is located 2000 miles away. It's still on route to me so I haven't seen it in person yet. Just a few pictures and the link below. Still learning everything that is on this car. I'm not that familiar with modern upgrades but looking forward to learning more about them.

My favourite car in the world, by far, has always been a 1964 Polara with a Hemi....put it arrived squeaking with a misaligned tensioner or pulley....so I sold my 1964 Polar.......

Squeaking belt from a tensioner? Nobody said anything about that. Sell them off. All of us.

It was a good Mopar run. But all good things have come to an end. Damn, so close.

No worries. I would have posted the same thing!

I don't have great glory shots of the car as a whole. Just close up specific shots of areas I wanted to see. These are only interiors shots I have. It has new legendary interior door panels, seat skins, headliner, sun visor, brand new dash pad. No Heater and has Radio Delete Plate. (First picture - It's a Canadian built Dodge so I believe it has the Plymouth dashboard.)

Once it arrives, I'll do a proper thread with pictures and full specs on the build.

Because I'm not a fluff and fold guy. The thought of just cleaning it and looking at it,not for me.
Kmrumedy, Diggin' the 64. Very nice. My last Hemi car had a cross ram for awhile but liked it better with a single 4 for street use. Now like you my next will be a done car turn key . Can't do the work like I used to.

Same here. My tastes are changing and I find myself just wanting to drive, have something really nice I can take care of and do some maintenance/ minor tinkering. This is my first turnkey. Curious how the other side lives. I'll report back.

I have not bought the cars (plural) of my dreams, but when I have discretionary cash, I have bought complete running, driving cars with decent paint and interiors that I think have some kind of 'cool factor'. I've paid between $9k and $20k for six 60's classics and if I sold them all, I could afford at least one beautifully restored car of my dreams. But that's not my style. I like tinkering and improving (the limit of my skills) and changing it up. Every one of my cars gives me a different feel and personality when I'm behind the wheel.

Yeah...the previous owner is a super guy and spent a pretty penny on a Billet Specialties serpentine belt system. Maybe the squeal is a new product feature? Lol. I don't know how this fancy stuff works yet. It's all new to me.

When my brother-in-law rebuilt his 340 Dart engine, he was quoted $8k for the serpentine belt system. He decided against it.

And no sweat on the measurements. My contributions here are limited but reading a tape measure is well within my skill set!
