Trying to justify buying a sonic cleaner. I can one for paint guns but wondering what you guys use them for. So what do you guys clean with them?

Carbs, Placer head parts, tools, small engine & transmission parts, gun parts... Lotta stuff..

Yeah forgot carb parts! With my motorcycles that’s enough right there lol. I suppose just having one around would find a lot of uses… Any recommendations on features?

I'll respond more tomorrow, gotta get to bed, gotta be up at 0300

You can clean your hedgehog (not Ron).
Ammo casings. Eyeglasses. Gets out the junk from between the frame and lenses.

Here' the one I bought three years ago.... It was allot least $$ back then.... It's big enough to put most normal size four barrel carbs into... And lots of other stuff... Though to be honest considering how much it's gone up if I were to buy another I think I'd buy the next bigger unit, not much more $$ & it's higher powered....Though honestly the ultrasonic side is fine, I just wish I could heat the water faster.... I use straight hot from the tap which is typically 50C but I crank the heat up to 75C as it works better the hotter it gets...

I have access to a commercial cleaner that is similar to simple green, lotta guys use simple green... I also have a couple glass jars with screw on lids that I have assorted chemicals in, lacquer thinner, gasoline, a mildly acid wheel & chrome cleaner.... Just drop the parts in the jar, screw the lid on & toss the jar in hot water in the ultrasonic cleaner & turn it on....

Wow, your Sonic sells cleaners? I bet they bring them out on roller skates also.
