I was wondering what kind of porting this looks like on these Stage 6 heads I acquired. I thought it looks kind of like CNC porting, but not sure. Any ideas?

There are adapter plates.
Yes, they came with adapter plates, just not sure how well these will work. I know the stage 6 heads leave something to be desired in stock form. I suppose if I bolt them onto a 440 with tight quench (.037"), and around 12 to 1 C Ratio, they might make decent power at 5400 feet.

Haha, could be. LOL..... Is there a way to distinguish CNC porting from other types? The tool marks look pretty regular, as if done by a machine. I guess the only real way to see if they are going to work well, is to bolt them onto a motor and go for it!

the spacers are for when there used on a rb block , they were designed for rb intakes on a b block . they flow good after porting , need special rocker assemblies .

Good to know that they flow well after porting. I have 2 M-1 intakes, one for a B, and one for an RB. Plus I have spacers. Bad news is that I don't have any special rocker arms that fit the Stage 6 heads. Are these offset for the intake ports?

they're not cnc'd, unless somebody took a grit roll over the tooling marks.

yes there offset , mine are maxwedge sized ports , thought m1's were standard ports . at least my m1's are .

Thanks! That's a very helpful article! You know, I believe these have stock size port windows, although I haven't measured them yet. The article states that these heads are available with stock size intake ports, or max wedge size.

never mind, article said it for me.
