Stage 6 Ports

well just by chance i'm doing a b 400 block to a 470 , with a ported version of the mw port sized stage 6's done by dave story in ky . using a matched mopar maxwedge intake twin 750cfm carbs . my cam grinder is got a cam in mind for it . but whats everybody running with there packages ? oh its for my 63 sf .

That's interesting! It will be nice to see how that thing runs! I am not running my Stage 6 heads on anything right now, but I sure am learning alot about them. The 496 I'm running in my 68 Valiant has Stealth heads on it, with a roller cam, and roller rockers. It was set up like this, and the Stage 6 heads came as spares. Do the standard port Stage 6 heads require offset intake rocker arms? Or are they only needed on the max wedge version?

Stealth heads are standard port, and the Stage 6 heads are standard size port also.

I think so,but it's best you speak to tech and verify exactly what you need.
