Coffee in hand, *** in fav chair, fire crackling, two good dogs at my feet and a cat in my lap. Well, the cat left when the laptop came out. But still, nice morning here in Vermont, raining and cold but i'm snug in the old cabin.

Had some issues on a hot day wiyh vapourlock i guess. Needs a shroud i know. Was playing with the eddy750 mixture and timing but seems to not be happy. It ran decent up to that day and now just can't quite get it back to that point even on cool days once it warms up. It's not heating up too much with the cooler weather but seems off once it reaches operating temp. I think if i read anymore threads about timing, my head is gonna bust! Lol

Sounds very similar to here in my area except the cat and the rain stopped last night.

Yeah, this is the first rain we have had in awhile. It has been a wet summer but not lately. Fall is here now, to stay I think. everyone is getting tightened up for the winter. Putting outdoor stuff away, raking leaves, cleaning garages out, getting the livestock ready and the barns. Getting the hay put up and the equipment greased up and put away. Changing over to winter tires and lighter weight oil, and checking that the remote starters work. Buying and laying in wood or pellets for heat in the house. We will be going to the commissary soon the buy 3-4 months worth of supplies so we dont have to go more than once in the snow. Typical fall stuff up here like pumpkins and corn mazes, squeezing the apples into cider and making pies and donuts. Smores around the campfire etc....

Always loved New England, especially in the Fall. Was my favorite vacation spot years ago.

Good point thanks. Thinking about the coil heating up too much too as well as turfing the eddy carb in favour of a holleydp i have but needs rebuilding. Lots to mull over on my last cup of java for today!
