I thought I found a good deal on here for parts for my dads 67X I went though paypal just like the guy wanted. I gave him my name, address & number. I thought the deal was done. I had to do some transferring of money. He couldn't give it time for the transfer to be complete. He said I was a scammer & I was playing games. Then he got nasty. Im not going to name names. Ive had good dealings on here but this leaves a bad tast in my mouth. If you know what I mean. I know I should just let I go but this really PISSED ME OFF.

my advice, take screenshots of everything you did. If you sent the money and he has it but is claiming its not there, then thats a big issue that you'll need to call paypal on.....

LOL scammed him out of what ? I have dealt with MANY people on hear & for A bodies only. Never had a problem. I have always used paypal. If you don't have money in your payapl account it takes time to do a transfer. Done this many times

He’s a good guy, I been on this site for a while and have seen your father and you post a lot. I’ve never seen his name here and for him to cal you out as a scammer immediately threw up a red flag. Don’t sweat it

Well I just talked to my bank & they said the money was transferred into my paypal account this morning. So I called paypal ( what a pain in the ***) & I stopped them from there transfer. O & my bank told me that I would take up to 2 days to see it. His loss Ill just buy new ones

Getting PayPal on the phone is a pain! I called once to be told there was a 4 hour wait so I did the whole we’ll call you back deal but they never called. Called the next morning got them on the phone in minutes? Best way to go is call your bank first and see if you can do a stop payment, but there’s usually a fee for that.

It's unfortunate that the two of you are "posting around" each other.
Absolutely not taking sides, it seems like miscommunication and a hair trigger on the other guy's part led to this.
If y'all would have spent as much effort communicating with each other as you have individually spent time posting about each other this may have been avoidable.

The way I see it I did my part. I was on my bank, I kept emailing paypal. I wanted this done ASAP I didn't want to loose the deal
