Helped a friend with his 77 Ford Mustang II with the 5.0, man what a PIA that was...don't think there wasn't a tube we didn't have to dent up. Think we went thru a case of beer gettin those suckers on. Fired it up un-capped and rattled everybody's windows before driving it 2 blocks to the muffler shop.

:lol: Going back to the Cougar I mentioned earlier..... The car originally had a 351W We swapped in the 390 out of a wrecked 69 Mustang... Added a 3x2 setup off a 63 406... Worked on that car for a couple weeks on the street in front of my buddies house... Finally finished the major work at about 2:30 AM om a Wednesday night.... I figured we'd fire it the next day.... Nope... @2:30 in the morning we fired it up uncorked & broke in the cam.... Mike had some very tolerant neighbors cause if someone did that to me they'd be meeting Mr Smith & Mr Wesson........ Shut it down at 3 AM & the next day drove it to the muffler shop...
