Since the car season is winding down I thought I would clean up a few parts for this winters projects yesterday.
One of the items I'd like to install (actually re-install) is the cruise on the 73. It was in the trunk when I bought it.
I have been conversing with a member who has sent me some valuable info and pics.
However he doesn't recognise this bracket and neither do I.
Now, let me state that is may not be a cruise control piece. It was in the box that had the old compressor in it along with the cruise pieces (servo brackets etc.). In fact it may have nothing to do with either. BUT, I usually label parts if the are not together with their counter-parts. I do not remember removing this however. Clearly what ever it is, it is not being used right now.
Wire wheeled and primed, it was black and loaded with grease. Anyone recognise it?

Well, here are a couple shots of the finished bracket in black if it matters.

look to be cruise control bracket..maybe

speed control servo support bracket. Are the rubber mounts still attached to the servo? The servo usually has studs with rubber mounts and washer nut combo but I have seen this setup also.

Here is the servo before I cleaned everything up.
