Well I just got back from checking out the motor up in Sacramento. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and it is in excellent shape. TRW .030 Slugs for a 10 to 1 Compression, Std. Crank Journals, Double Roller Timing Chain and Gears, stock 383 Cam..Numbers were unavailable...and the rest of the loose parts from the add. The 906 heads have new Valves, guides, keepers, locks, and dual springs. They have been run but for a very short time as there is some minor carbon on the valve side of the heads. I will be using them on my eventual 440 build as I have 440 Source Heads to swap from the old 383 to this one. The 440Source Heads will have keepers and locks swapped from the 7 degree to the 10 degree while they are off and possibly a mild blend, port and polish. I will be upgrading my Cam to a Hughes Grind 3 bolt verses the single bolt option this time, and Rhoades Lifters thanks to Rusty Rat Rods suggestion on the lifters. The 509 Purple Shaft CAM has some time on it but no wiped lobs and has a new set of lifters with it so I can get that sold at a swap meet for sure. Included were MOPAR Valve covers in excellent shape and the motor comes with an engine stand which will help with the build and swap. Asking price was 1000.00 and I offered 900.00. We settled on 950.00 for the whole package which all and all isn't all that bad considering what I have now. I will pick up the motor and stand on Monday as there was no way I could get everything into my Honda Civic and I didn't have a truck available this weekend. As I get to work on this I will get pics up so you all can follow along. And for Rusty if he reads this...I will be writing and emailing you for questions and tips if need be. I am the eternal Optimist so this time for sure it will work...cr8crshr/Tuck
