I am looking for feedback on Laysons Restorations.... Good, Bad, or indifferent. I like some of their pricing, and products they provide. So before I embark on a purchase journey with them, I would like to hear about experiences. Thank You.

Looks like a 2 thumbs up too me

help support our sponsors, that support the site too,
not like some of these guys who use the site
to hawk their parts/business stuff for free...

Rick is a cool guy, spoke with many times in person buying parts at the Spring Fling.

The bad part about him is he's a SeaHawks fan! Lol!!!

They sell some high quality stuff. I recall that they had come copyright trouble years back when they were reportedly selling repro stuff with the pentastar without the approval of Chrysler.
The owner supposedly has a love of early Valiants. He couldn't find decent restoration parts so he made some himself. This led to making more stuff.....then he made it his business. Nice story, I hope that it is true.

Laysons are one of the sponcer vendors for this website. Never a complaint that I have heard of.............................MO

I ordered a power steering hose from Layson's a week ago yesterday. I wanted to try them out, support an advertiser of this great web site, and my fellow Mopar buddies had great things to say about their products. I placed my order on line, received a confirmation email two days later. So far, so good.

I was shocked when I received a call yesterday that they were starting to process the order (credit card issue in that the web site expiration date only goes to 2020, my card was 2022). Not in a big hurry, but really surprised that an internet order sits around 5 working days before it is 'processed'.

Not really complaining, but just sharing the experience.

I hope the hose is correct and of good quality as I PREFER to patronize advertisers of FBBO. I also like the Layson's catalog and want to give them future business.

When I was processing your order in our warehouse(I try to process the same day orders come in but due to volume, it may take 24-48 hours), I discovered we did not have your power steering hose in stock on the shelf, so we got one ordered in for you, and it took our supplier a couple of days to get one to us. The billing does not take place until your part is here under our roof and ready to go to you. So billing may not take place immediately when you place your order, but it does take place when your package is ready to ship out.

And since this past Monday was President's Day, there was no postal being shipped that day so billing may have been delayed a day so that it can be billed the same day it ships out.

Thanks, Rick. Looking forward to receiving the part and future business with Layson's.

I received the power steering hose from Layson Restoration last Thursday. Although not a exact replica it fit perfectly and seems to be great quality. Included was a CD catalog that is nice.
I will be ordering from Layson soon more items!
I'm a satisfied customer.

I don't think any part can be re-produced, exactly, without licensing from Mopar . Someone please let me know if this is not correct............................MO
