What size bulb fits into the license plate light socket?

I'm putting my 67 Charger back together and I need to know what type of bulb fits into the license plate light socket? My part number is 257-5075. Any help is appreciated.

I believe it is a 67 also. However, if you do a lot of night time driving, you may want to get a comparable LED bulb that will last longer and not melt your lens from excess heat.

57 is too small.

57 and 67 have the same base. 57 is 3 candlepower and 67 is 4 CP.

Maybe that is why my lens got melted. I went with a LED bulb when I could have gotten by one less CP.

Can have the same problem with the interior lighting. 1004 bulbs get rather warm. Go LED or use a 90.
