Hello Mopar Gurus:

For a few years now my speedo has a random issue whereby it suddenly starts howling and the needle jumps around. When I come to a complete stop then continue driving it can disappear then suddenly reappear. It went away for a long while now it is back. When it works it is quite accurate and very stable, the odometer is not affected. Questions:

*Is this the cable needing lubrication or the gauge itself? If cable what type of lube?
*Can the gauge be lubricated? If yes what type of lube?
*Is there a way to upload a short video clip to see and hear the noise?

Thanks!

Try the cable lube first. Just google it and you can also find it at any parts store.
