Dont think so. There were 3 55's built especially for Two Lane Blacktop. American Graffiti was an earlier movie.

It's been a longtime fact
Yep it is the same cars, star cars 3 were built, just different,
got rid of the cheesy plastic slide windows, hood scoop, bumpers, wheels,
to make it look like something from summer of 1962, not the early 70's etc.
in American Graffiti/Two Lane Blacktop, based on producer
Richard Ruth's from "Competition Engineering" his old street-racecar
3) 1 had a L-88 427ci with a Tunnel Ram & the other 2 were 454 cars,
after 2-L-BT they {all 3} went to Universal Studios Prop cars
