Is anybody currently running a Pypes Street Pro 2.5" exhaust with MVA 13 muffler? My car is a 67 Coronet with slightly modified 318. I have a Flowmaster super 40 system installed which sounds good but has a lot of drone when taking along trip. I currently saw a video of a comparison of both systems on you tube and seems like the pypes mufflers sounds great and no drone.

Installed a pypes system on one of my cars a dozen years ago, albeit I needed to do some custom fabrication & welding. Nevertheless, their system and sound is great. I'd do it again today. No drone, like I have in one of my other cars.

I have no comparative analysis to offer, Just wanted to say that 2 1/2" pipe is too large for a mild 318. 2" would be a better match (dual). Too large a pipe slows the exhaust velocity and results in a power loss.

I would opt for the race pro over the street pro.I would even run the turbo pro over the street pro.
