Hello everyone in Moparland.

I have some blocks with very worn lifter bores!
I am after a lifter bore Re-bushing kit please.

Any help finding one new or second-hand greatly appreciated indeed.

Best wishes from Poly John

I have never heard of such a product-for home use? Poly engine? I had a 440 done in a machine shop-to correct bore alignment.

50 years ago you could buy oversize lifters. Hone to fit. Maybe ebay has some.

Many thanx Kramer!

That is the BHJ kit I saw at Tom Nelson race engines, very expensive I bet?

There is a home kit where you get the reamers and bushes but doesn't realign the bores.

I know it exists as someone on here had it and said it was AOK!

I have checked all my Mopar blocks ranging from 273 all the way up too the mighty 440's.
All have lifter bore issues, some maybe 'one or two' sloppy bores to some with over half that are suspect.

I don't see much chat about this problem on the relative Mopar sites?
I guess most folks are running their engines with loose/sloppy lifters...:eek::eek:

My old race 440 was great when it was cold, but on a hot August day and a ten second run she would not hold oil pressure!
Wish I had known about the Wydendorf reamer and re-bushing kit back some twenty years ago!:bananaweed::bananaweed::bananaweed:
