What did you do to your Mopar today?

Changed out the front to rear brake line and put new bed on today

Replaced the old Edelbrock 750 with a Holley 670 and spun the tires for the first time changing gears from 1st to 2nd on my 727:D
Took it to a local car show.

Got the 727 attached to the 6.4/hemi. It required removing a steel bushing out of the crankshaft. The trans builder and convertor maker had never seen this situation before.

I far prefer heavy perspiration over shoveling snow and endless shivering.
I am so enjoying having my convertible as daily transportation this past week.
I see other convertible drivers, all newer cars, and none of them are keeping their roof down and letting their hair go crazy in the wind.
I have to wonder why they even have them if they cannot revel in the heat with a 50 mph breeze.

After driving to work this morning, grabbed a hairbrush to smooth things out, and on the second pull, broke the brush handle clean off.
I guess I can't complain too damn much about having thick wavy hair at 55.
I long ago lost count of how many hairbrushes I've broken off that way.

Made a template for the new gauges today. Also figured out a few things I need to do to get it to fit and not look too bad...

While I had the original cluster out I found what looks like a ballast, but I have no idea what it's for, anyone have any idea?

The round thing is a capacitor and the flat contact shares a slot in the inst cluster with the voltage regulator to stop radio interference.

Had big plans on working on running fuel lines. Opened the shop door, it was like a sauna in the shop, shut door, went back into the air conditioned house. Decided I would go back out after the sun went down, still hot in the shop, so here I am :)

Started putting the M/C and booster back together.

Smashed my thumb trying to get the prop valve of the bracket (rivets?!) so I can wire brush and paint it.

The last pic shows the krylon battery protectant (front section) versus the OEM cad plating rear section).

Close enough and far better than it was. Sorry about the lighting.

I got new tires mounted on the new Cop wheels I got from CI. Taking the Coronet down to my buddy in Rio Rico this afternoon to have him do the suspension work. When I get the car back, I will install the new tires, get a front-end alignment and have the steering wheel centered. This will pretty much address the drivability and safety issues, then it will be on to asthetics. Imagine some Cop dogdish hubcaps on these wheels, because I have some coming from a member I struck a deal with!

Nice. I'd go full wheel-covers, for that sleeper look.

Loaded up the road runner, for the Red Barns show tomorrow.

I may end up doing that mmissile, but I am going to try the cop hubcaps first and see how I like it. I'll post some pics when I have it done and see what you all think. Remember, this is a 4 door with a 318, but I would like it to look a little cool!

Police wheel covers look good on anything if it's Mopar.
