The night a Super Bee scared hell out of me (Ed Story alert...)

Maybe just like alot of horses. Real horses. You call for gallop they oblige. Then you ask them for a little bit more, bam your off to the races now. Maybe your old 440 had just been giving you the regular gallop. That night you asked for that little bit more.

    Transmission help!

Sounds like you need to take it back to the shop that rebuilt it if its pretty recent. If you rebuilt it yourself well better luck next time. I’ve rebuilt two 46re. Virtually the same. All I can say is clean, clean, clean , and I have a factory service manual that helps alot! They are good...

    383 Mopar Rebuild Help

On a stockish rebuild I would go with the 440 magnum, Roadrunner/Superbee cam. Melling makes a stock replacement. I would aslo recommend pistons that are as close to zero deck that you can find. If your heads are open chamber run a steel shim head gasket. If they are closed chamber regular...

Same difference the other way. No reason to not buy a proper bellhousing and use a transmission that requires less mods to install in the car. If your going to go TH400 you may as well go Ford AOD. ITS Probably stronger stock then the chevy and Chrysler

727or TH400. Six one way half a dozen the other way. Built 4L80 or 518, 46RH. Chrysler transmission for the win.

Ya I don’t get it either. An Ultra bell and a 518 or 46RH seems like a better fit to me.

    Subframe Connectors and unibodies

I agree its a very subjective subject! Im not denying you like the way they feel. Im just surprised that so many people say they make that much difference. I can’t install them on my ride due to inference with the exhaust. So I may not ever know the difference. I have considered the...

    Temp Gauge / Temperature Gauge

Long shot but maybe teflon tape on the sender threads not ensuring a path to ground? I only say this because I recently installed a fuel pressure gauge and it specifically said no thread sealant because of this reason.

    Subframe Connectors and unibodies

Im not calling anyone out. And I have no personal experience with SFCs. But it honestly surprises me that they make that much difference. Especially considering the willy-nilly way and placement the prefabricated ones attach to the torsion support. I can see how the Birdsong method could...

    Subframe Connectors and unibodies

My guess is the average car and driver couldn’t feel the difference between SFC and no SFC.

    Brake conversion?

Ya, I thought about swapping fronts to 11 inch on my 4 corner 10” car. I can easily lock up the rear brakes.

On my phone it looks like the first mark on top is zero. Then 2 degrees every mark. With 10,20, & 30 labeled. In the past when hard to read Get out dome white paint and fill the low spots.
