I know your post was quite some time ago. Not sure if you resolved your overdrive problem. I would recommend a Gearvendor unit. They can be purchased easily and with an adapter, bolt directly to your automatic. The advantages are without question. Allowing you to split gears (6 forward gears)...

Hello. I am a new member from Southern California, but don't hold that against me please. Lol I've always had an interest in Mopars so I purchased a 1964 Sport Fury. The car has bucket seats, console, and dealer A/C. It currently has a 318 Poly. My plans are to swap that out for a 440/727...
