These are in a 1969 Charger 500 I am helping a friend with. I am stumped as to what they may be from. If they are custom, someone has some skills, but they look factory. These are the best pictures I have at the moment.
Any thoughts from the group?

@torredcuda Thanks for the firewall labeling picture. Pretty sure the ram-charger vacuum lines enter above the heater hoses. See attached unrestored 70 RR.

I wouldn't sand anymore. You may have removed the texture as mentioned before. The color looks good in the picture. The original organisol used a metallic to get the texture which gave the slight grey hue to the black.

I have no record of either VIN in my 1970 Lynch Road library. The VIN on the engine/transmission should match your dash tag and fender tag. There are several documented errors of the body stamps being off by 1 digit. This would be another.

The complete VIN may yield results. The databases several members have compiled over the years are based upon a minimum of the last 6 of the VIN.

2737 = January 24, 1969. 4 - 6 weeks prior to actual build date is common. To answer your question, yes, this a period correct master cylinder for your A12 but a little early. Based upon this assembly date, I believe the casting date is 11/6/68.

I am a little late to this thread Dan. Yes, the 1168 is a date code. I need to follow up as to the representation, 116th day of 1968 or 11/6/68. The other way to determine if this is a period correct cylinder for the A12 is the assembly date code on the nose of master cylinder. We have that...
