    Dougs Exhaust Cut Outs

Misspoke, the sourced motors are 5 rpm. They will need the cross hole drilled in the shaft but that is pretty basic.

    Dougs Exhaust Cut Outs

No, my Dougs are the new style and have the metal gears that are the current design. I will say that this is my sons car and no sooner did I install the cutouts that they we put in the open position and there they stayed for at least 4 months of daily driving. I assumed by not exercising the...

TTI headers. They completely basket the starter in. No way to R&R without removing the header at the block and collector. That means you get to clean the exhaust gasket residue at the block and clean all 6 bolts holes that are water jacket wet.

    Dougs Exhaust Cut Outs

We have had these on the car for a few years now. TTI long tube headers to a 2 1/2" full TTI system thru mufflers. Quiet in the neighborhood and let her eat on the street. The feedback on the cutouts is to consider them a maintenance item. Even with constant use and cycling the carbon build...

    440 Starter Information

I don’t really have a question here but just posting for the group info. When building my sons car a few years ago the one thing I really did not put a bunch of research into was the starter, because I did not think I needed too. I was getting a bunch of parts from 440 Source and just went...

    Any Driveway Mechanics?

The upper picture is where the rollback spotted the car on day 1. All the way down and back up in 14 months including paint in that location until it drove down the hill. 17,000 miles on it currently so I seemed to have most of the bolts tight enough.

For all those that hunt…6.5 CM

Second vote on the 450 Bushmaster if out to 250 yds. I have AR platform that the kids stole so I went lighter with the Ruger American Gen II. Some quick trigger work down to 2.5#, polished the bolt, built a tactical bolt knob, Lapp in the rings for a positive scope set and looking at the...

Final stages of installing A/C system

The biggest issue I had on my install was bad crimps from the local shop. I did not find that cheap crumpet early enough so I clocked all of my fittings and had the shop crimp them. I have ended up fixing all of them myself with that crimper which works great. If you still have room, I would...

I want to put a tracking device on my car

How much money and time do you have invested in your car? Spend a few bucks and get Optimus. Battery operated and rechargeable. Get the waterproof magnetic case and it can be tucked anywhere inside or outside of the car. I seem to be getting 45 days or so before recharging but your settings...

    Youngest mopar owners

I seem to write the checks but it is his car. He started college this year but he managed to put 16,000 miles on the car in 3 years of High School. I probably need to buy some carbon offsets.

    Replacing Furnace

Coming from oil you will be sorely disappointed with a heat pump. That said, I like dual fuel with the heat pump and then LP in my case. The heat pump does fine down to about 40*. After that it just moves luke warm air around. I let the wife run it up with the heat pump engaged and then...

    Idler Solenoid for air conditioning

My ‘68 Coronet is factory ac with the classic air refresh under the hood. I wired the throttle stop right off the 12v compressor feed at the compressor side. The wire is already 6 inches from the needed location. Once the ac switch is turned on there is constant 12v on that wire. There are...
