68 Charger: Anybody Ever Have Problem With Upper Rear Shock Bolt Removal?

Keep children away, as these types of jobs induce "four letter word" vocabulary! It's funny that someone replaced the hump/trunk floorboard, but didn't replace the shocks. I assume the bolt shank is rusted to the inner sleeve of the shock hoop. Not an area that anyone wants to use a torch or...

    Fuel tank vent lines

If you have an inspection (snake) camera it works perfect for these types of needs. I have an aftermarket tank as well, and the short tube is towards the center, and the longer one towards the driver side. I've attached photo from under the car, if it helps.

69 bench seat car lap belt count?

The 69 B body is considered a 5 passenger car, no? The rear bench has lap belts for 3 passengers, and the storage clips for 3 lap belt latches. Is there supposed to be 3 lap belts on the front bench seat as well? If not, why are there storage clips for 3 lap belt latches on the front bench seat?

440 question: might be a dumb question

Sorry, I can't pass this one up. Is it possible your mom was reading that to your dad as forplay, and you just overheard it? Were the readings followed by a visit from a bald guy who would spit on you? Kudos to you for absorbing the FSM knowledge with all of that happening!

    January Monthly Mopar Giveaway 2025

Congrats on the win. This question brings back nightmares from childhood! In the mid 70's, my father insisted on using his Volkswagen Beetle for our family road trip vacations to Florida (from the Midwest), instead of the full size station wagon in the driveway. 2 adults, 4 kids, and the...

WTB ISO: 1968 383 exhaust manifold

I have one dated 2-19-69 that is in excellent shape with little/no pitting (9 of 10), but I'm not willing to seperate it from it's original right side sibling. The sibling carries a 2532464 casting#, and is in great shape with little/no pitting. The heat riser moves freely, but is missing the...

Classic Industries Bench Seat Headrest Rebuild & Mounting Set MD2048 = Beware

As a warning to the Mopar community, the bench seat headrest mounting rebuild kit (part# MD2048) from Classic Industries has a major issue that requires extensive work to the seat frames to use the top headrest shaft guide/spacer! It needs to be re-engineered to correctly fit the factory...
