Mopar community alert:
FYI,
In case anyone is looking for this particular 340 engine for their car to be #'s matching. It has stamping #9B450848, and a casting date of 5-28-69. It is listed on eBay, and in Colorado.
Keep children away, as these types of jobs induce "four letter word" vocabulary!
It's funny that someone replaced the hump/trunk floorboard, but didn't replace the shocks. I assume the bolt shank is rusted to the inner sleeve of the shock hoop. Not an area that anyone wants to use a torch or...
If you have an inspection (snake) camera it works perfect for these types of needs. I have an aftermarket tank as well, and the short tube is towards the center, and the longer one towards the driver side. I've attached photo from under the car, if it helps.
The 69 B body is considered a 5 passenger car, no?

Congrats on the win.
This question brings back nightmares from childhood! In the mid 70's, my father insisted on using his Volkswagen Beetle for our family road trip vacations to Florida (from the Midwest), instead of the full size station wagon in the driveway.

These are factory molded bench seat foams removed from a 1969 Plymouth Satellite 2 door hardtop. They are still fully intact and soft/pliable. They are not dried out, and do not deteriorate when touched. These seats were never exposed to weather, and had been reupholstered previously, before the...
I have one dated 2-19-69 that is in excellent shape with little/no pitting (9 of 10), but I'm not willing to seperate it from it's original right side sibling. The sibling carries a 2532464 casting#, and is in great shape with little/no pitting. The heat riser moves freely, but is missing the...
As a warning to the Mopar community, the bench seat headrest mounting rebuild kit (part# MD2048) from Classic Industries has a major issue that requires extensive work to the seat frames to use the top headrest shaft guide/spacer! It needs to be re-engineered to correctly fit the factory...
