I'm Christopher, and I inherited a 1969 Plymouth Fury 3 convertible(with 383) and also a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe. My late father was robbed and the keys to both were stolen years ago when a foster care child went into the house while I and my family were at the Outer Banks. Anywho in February of this year I put a new ignition switch in it and put fuel in it, cleaned the point in the distributor and cleaned the sparkplugs and got it fired up after 12 years of sitting in my garage. The Special Deluxe has no brakes and needs new fuel lines. My Fury needs timed I think because when you step on the loud pedal she'll hesitate. I'll definitely be needing help because I have some old Craftsman timing gun that doesn't have a screen. To be honest though I am a rookie mechanic, my main thing I can always do it's get an engine started. I've never worked on those cars because my Dad did all the work (lol he bought the 1950 Special Deluxe only bc 1 it's very nice condition and 2 he was born in 1950) I was never allowed to touch the cars I was literally the flashlight holder learning new swear words while growing up lol. I do love working on mechanical cars though, computer nonsense.
