1970 Super Bee 383 Auto Stalling when hot

I had a /6, 61 Valiant years ago that when I bought it there were about 4 close pins on the fuel line. I thought what the hell is this. I took them off. The next time I took the car out, 20 plus miles, it did almost exactly what the OP said. I made it back home 1, 2, 3, miles at a time...

As @ckessel mentioned above it sounds like vapor lock to me. Place tow or three wooden close pins on the fuel line right before the carburetor.

    The most beautiful muscle car?

When I went looking for my first new car a 67 SS Chevelle was on the top of my list. $200 in price side tracked that and I bought my 67 Satellite and its been Mopar ever since.

Pentastar emblem: best adhesive to use?

If you are going to exert that much time and energy on this, why not drill the broken stud out and JB Weld in a replacement. Tedious work, but doable.

    Cruise-in Last Evening

I didn't meet the owner, but someone did a nice job on this Charger. Original 318 automatic, now a 440-6, 4-speed. The Challenger next to it was an original 70 R/T 383 Air car.
