    Filter position

Gotcha. I just like the fact I can see the fuel flow. It helps in diagnosing fuel delivery problems should they arise. I'll swap it out though, just to be on the safe side. Thank you for the heads up.

    Filter position

Matthon, you’re the second or third person to tell me that about the clear filter. What fails on them? I’m running a simple Holly 600. I just find it strange that the gauge started jumping after installing the filter. I think I’m going to bypass the regulator and put a gauge just before the...

    Filter position

I installed a filter with a return line after the pressure regulator, ran the return line back to the tank. I left the clear filter that’s before the regulator for visual purposes and extra filtering. I started the car and the fuel pressure gauge was all over the place. I’m assuming that the...

    Filter position

No. The sending unit only has an outlet. The previous owner put a provision in the filler neck for a return port. I just picked up a 33040 from O’Reilly’s. Similar to yours only the return port is parallel to the out put line.

    Filter position

That’s what I have now. The clear one in the picture. I wasn’t sure if a filter with a return line should be before or after the regulator. I’m trying to cut down on a heat soak problem.

    Filter position

I want to add a fuel filter that has a return line and I’m questioning myself as to where to put it. Since it has a return port, should it go before or after the pressure regulator? My current setup is pictured below.

Carburetor heat soak or vapor lock?

Don't mean to hi-jack your post, but since I'm having the same trouble with heat soak, I figured I'd go ahead and ask here instead of creating a whole new thread. I'm going to put a fuel filter with a return line in but was curious about where at the tank to put the return line. The previous...

    '62 axle conversion

I'm thinking about swapping out the rear on my '62 Dart for one that has better replacement parts availability. Currently it has the stock housing and drums with a 741 center section. How hard would it be to swap out the rear shafts and backing plates to accept a newer drum setup?

    Vinyl question

So it sounds like I need to recover it. Finding a light blue vinyl material isn’t easy. I’ve come across medium and dark blues. Wonder if I can recover it in fabric instead…

    62 Dash Radio Speaker

This is what is in my 62 Dart.

    Vinyl question

What causes vinyl to develop these brown spots? I’ve tried everything to try and remove them but they just keep getting worse. The car stays parked in my garage. Is it some kind of mold or sun damage?

    SOLD 1962 Dodge Dart

I’m looking to sell my 1962 Dart. It has a mildly built 413 big block backed by a 4 speed manual. Holley 600 and Edelbrock intake. MSD ignition. Rear end is a Chrysler 8-3/4 with 3:55 gears. Two year old tires. Manual brakes and steering. I also have the fender skirts but the rear tires are too...

    62 Dart fan shroud

I'm curious what others are using for a fan and shroud on their Darts with a big block. I have a 413 and an aluminum 26" radiator from AutoCity Classics. I had a shroud that was on the previous factory radiator that the last owner zip tied on but the shroud broke. Fan wise, it has an aftermarket...

    Rear drum stuck?

Seized, no. I drive the car quite often. Grooved, possibly. I had the adjuster in quite a bit but was afraid to go too far with it for fear of it falling off. Then I’d be really screwed. I was planning on reusing them. At this point I’m wondering if going with a newer rear end would be better...

    Rear drum stuck?

No worries. I knew they were tapered. I’ve just never had one this stuck on before.
