I'm a retired District Administrator, former HS Head Basketball Coach, Math Teacher, Corporate Sales Manager, Marketing Director, and Division Manager at a national window manufacturer. Now I'm in the process of restoring my 1974 Dodge Charger SE Brougham that I purchased new in 74 for $5400. The 318, 904, bench seats, and rear end are gone. The motor is a BluePrint 408 Stroked dyno at 452.8 hp and 508 ft lb's. The rear is now a 8 3/4 3.23/1 sure grip. The tranny is beefed up 727. and the seats are 2005 Cadillac STS with speakers in the 8 way power seats. I'm learning a lot, next time I will purchase a classic car already restored. Sorry you purest but I have original the seats, motor, tranny, axle, and even rusted body parts if I ever decide to restore to original.
