Where did you purchase your center caps? I bought the Firestone tires because I wanted a radial tire that looked like a bias-ply.

Put my new tires and rims on today. 15"x7", I re-used the center caps that came with the car. They are very poor quality off shore pcs. Are there any good quality reproduction center caps available? Should they be silver or grey for a Superbird? Thanks in advance.

Probably is. I have a detailed binder of pictures that came with the car. The last owner described it as 4615 SA L2. Looking at the pictures it could be an 8. His documentation says 383 M/T Superbee 2nd week of December.

The service manual describes the procedure and I watched a video on how it's done. They use a 3/16" rod to hold the top bell crank. It says that you have to use a "special" tool at the linkage on the transmission to hold it so you can adjust the length of the intermediate rod. Does anyone know...

Sorry I re-read your post and see that you were replacing an old set. They just so much better with bias-plys.

I'm going pull the pan of this weekend. I've never worked on a 727 before but I will google the location of the accumulator.
