Wayne County Speed Shop. Darrel Alderman. I would love to have one of those!

Does anyone remember the back story that led to the shirt?
i think it was the dodge boys were kicking *** on the strip and the only way to beat them was with a hammer / sledge hammer

Yup. A loser, or two, broke into the shop and busted up their blocks. The other side of that was that it was self inflicted to hide where they ran the NoX into the engine. Me, I think it was because Darrel and co were kicking butt.

Vandals broke-in to their shop in the middle of the night and smashed their engines with sledge hammers??
....Allegedly....
There has always been speculation that it was an inside job. That they did it themselves after they got caught cheating and this was a self-imposed punishment (with the NHRA in on it) to allow them to not be exposed. They were awfully dominant at the time, which raised speculation of hidden NOS in their engines.

Interesting. I never heard of that.

Any reputable silkscreen shop can reproduce that t-shirt. All they need is the photo.

Well, if someone wants to take that pic or if a better one is needed, go for it! Let me know if a better pic is needed and I'll get one.

Here's one of Scott Geffrion's
